About

Dr Wong Yiing Cheong obtained his basic medical degree at the University of Sydney, Australia in 1996. He commenced his postgraduate training in Ophthalmology in Malaysia in 1998. Subsequently, he obtained a Masters degree in Ophthalmology from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom in 2001.
Dr Wong established an Eye Centre after his own name, Wong Yiing Cheong Specialist Eye Centre in Taman Cheras Makmur, upon his return to Kuala Lumpur in 2005. Dr Wong has been appointed a Professor in Ophthalmology by the Muthusamy Virtual University of Post Graduate Ophthalmology since 2006.
