About

Dr. Ang Chin Sim is a keen and caring ophthalmologist who has been practising clinical and surgical ophthalmology for almost 2 decades. She has a sub-specialist interest in cataract surgery and other forms of anterior surgery.

Prior to her current position at ACS Eye Specialists, Dr. Ang CS was an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at University Putra Malaysia, where she headed the ophthalmology department in the medical faculty. At the same time Dr. Ang also was a visiting consultant opthalmologist at Selayang Hospital where the primary tertiary eye centre for Malaysia is situated.

Dr. Ang also worked at Kuala Lumpur Hospital where in addition to practising in the many sub-specialty fields of ophthalmology, she ran the diabetic retinopathy subspecialty clinic. Subsequently Dr. Ang headed the glaucoma subspecialty clinic before moving on to University Putra Malaysia as a clinician, surgeon and academician.

In addition to being the resident consultant ophthalmologist at ACS Eye Specialists, Dr. Ang CS is also an honourary consultant ophthalmologist at Tung Shin Hospital in Kuala Lumpur
